ABOUT TIM WILLIAMSON, AIA

Architecture 470 is led by Tim Williamson, a licensed architect and specifications writer with over 30 years of experience. Over the course of his career, Tim’s completed projects total over $1.1B of in-place construction.

Tim has extensive experience in a wide range of building types, including low-rise and high-rise multi-family, mixed-use, hospitality, office, education, military, retail, industrial, and parking structures.

In the seven years prior to forming Architecture 470 in 2021, Tim was responsible for over $650M in completed mixed-use and multi-family projects, totaling over 2,300 apartment units and over 1,300 beds of off-campus student housing.

Tim has led numerous multi-family, hospitality, and mixed-use projects ranging in size from 3 to 44 stories, with construction costs ranging from $32M to $118M. He has successfully completed projects in numerous construction types, including cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, structural metal stud framing, wood stud framing, heavy timber, and precast concrete.

Tim is a licensed architect in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas, holds an NCARB certificate, is a member of the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), and is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP BD+C).
